Spaces that fit the occasion

We have more than one option, so the room can suit the gathering rather than the other way round:

  • The garden room — a lovely space for private dining and smaller celebrations, when you want your group together in one intimate room.
  • Two function rooms — more space for bigger celebrations, gatherings and events, where you have the room to yourselves.

From an intimate table of a dozen up to larger parties, tell us the numbers and the mood you’re after and we’ll point you to the right space — and if you’re not sure how many are coming yet, that’s fine, we can talk it through.

Celebrations built around you

A function here isn’t a fixed package you squeeze your event into. We’d rather build it around what you want. That might mean a set menu of our most-loved dishes, a steak-led feast using Quinn’s own dry-aged beef, a relaxed Sunday gathering, or something tailored to a specific celebration. We agree the menu with you in advance and cater for dietary requirements with notice.

Because we’re a restaurant with rooms, we can also make a real occasion of it: dinner in a private room, drinks at the bar, and boutique guest rooms upstairs so nobody has to cut the evening short or worry about the drive home.

The room should suit the gathering, not the other way round.

The right setting in Mid Ulster

The Tailor’s House is genuinely well placed for a gathering that draws people in from across the region. We’re in the centre of Ballygawley, just off the A4, about 8 miles from Dungannon and an easy run from Omagh and Cookstown — so guests travelling from around Mid Ulster and beyond have a straightforward journey and free parking at the door. For anyone coming a distance, the rooms upstairs make an overnight simple.

It’s a warm, characterful setting that feels special without feeling stiff — which is exactly what most celebrations want.
